Get Involved Through Committees
The heart of our work happens through dedicated committees where members can contribute their time, talents, and expertise. Committee involvement is one of the best ways to make meaningful connections while making a real difference.
Marketing Committee
The committee is in charge of the newsletter, Social Media posts, graphics and content for the website and other marketing media (e.g., the Chamber of Commerce calendar of events). Contact Us
Fundraiser
The committee is in in charge of organizing our annual InspiHer fundraiser each year. There are several volunteer opportunities to this event. This includes securing the location, determining the date, securing vendors and opportunity baskets and other event logistics. Contact Us
Membership
Several responsibilities fall under membership: hostessing at events and meetings, visitor thank you notes, monthly after hours get togethers, member orientation, and member outreach. Contact Us
Bylaws Committee
The committee reviews the bylaws and policies & procedures to identify needed changes and then prepares those for approval. Contact Us
Grants
The committee for reviewing and updating the grant application as needed, sending it to the technology chair for posting to the website, contacting previous applications, selecting a committee to review the submitted grant applications to select the recipients, and then notifying the chosen recipients. The chosen recipients would be receiving funds from our fundraising efforts. Contact Us
Lifetime Achievement
Each year we choose women from our community to receive this award to be honored at our InspiHer fundraiser. This committee reviews the application for any changes that are needed, seeks out nominations, reviews the submitted nominations and chooses the recipients. Typically there are three recipients plus one honorary recipient who is deceased. Contact Us
